XV - an exhibition

Quirky Fox’s first exhibition for 2015 XV, the roman numerals for 15, will feature 15 different artists working in a variety of disciplines. The artists featured will include: 5 Taranaki artists; 9 New Zealand artists; and 1 international artist.

Not only does the number of artists add up to 15 but the distribution 5, 9, 1, equates to the Dewey Decimal number used in libraries for the natural history of animals, the theme of the exhibition.

XV will include both originals and limited edition pieces ranging from sketches through to sculptures, glass and jewellery. It combines the talent of well known New Zealand artists such as Flox (with Michel Tuffery) with emerging artist such as Offbeat and artists whose work may be familiar even if their name isn’t (Weta Workshop technician Charlotte Adams).

XV will open to the public 15 January 2015 at Quirky Fox 100 High Street, Hawera.
