Bright, bold, beautiful: 'Fractured'

'Tangled' by Jenni Stringleman

Bold stripes of oil built layer upon layer give way to fractured images of hydrangeas, waterlilies and pansies in the colourful works of Jenni Stringleman.

Based in Devonport, Jenni returned to her first love of painting after nearly twenty years in graphic design and animation, painting for personal pleasure:

‘For me, painting is an expression of joy. I simply love the act of applying oils to canvas, and recently this has lead me to explore leaving areas of glowing glazes over the original acrylic under painting, resulting in a fresh mix of thick oils, and semi transparent washes of colour, high detail combined with gestural strokes'.

'Fractured' showcases Jenni's kaleidoscopic floral works with both originals and prints available.

View the exhibition online or in store from Wednesday 4 October.
