Originally from the UK, Nicholas Eggleston likes to add anthropomorphic elements to his animal paintings. Particularly the dogs which lend themselves to this as they are so closely linked to us people. Nicholas hopes the works come across as both gentle and a little bit strange and loves to see people smile when they look at them.
Working mostly in watercolour, Nicholas has recently added acrylic inks to the mix of late, for added vibrancy.
Living and working Tauranga, Nicholas also makes shoes and pottery... accompanied by copious quantities of tea!
