Briana Hertzog
Working in oils, Briana Hertzog creates tightly rendered pop surreal paintings in saturated palettes that are fresh and contemporary. She often combines naturalistic human forms with playful creatures set in imaginative dreamscapes to create loose, metaphorical narratives most often inspired by love, self-acceptance, and feminism.
Briana Hertzog is based in Northern Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, attended the Illustration Academy, and has also studied at the Corcoran School of Art and Design and Intlochen Center for the Arts. An actively working illustrator, her work has been published in Richmond Magazine, North American Review, and Qual Bell Magazines.
