Shelby Clark-Glass
Shelby Clark-Glass is a sculptor originally from Pass Christian, Mississippi. She received her BA in English Literature from Flagler College in 2020, where she also minored in Environmental Science and Creative Writing. She currently lives in Jacksonville with her husband and their group of rescue pets.
Shelby's work comes from a love of nature, a love of literature, and a love of whimsy. Much of her view can be summed up by the following quote from Watership Down:
"‘Animals don't behave like men,' he said. 'If they have to fight, they fight; and if they have to kill they kill. But they don't sit down and set their wits to work to devise ways of spoiling other creatures' lives and hurting them. They have dignity and animality.’”
