As a wildlife and nature artist, my passion lies in capturing the intricate beauty and vibrant details of the natural world. My work celebrates the interactions between living beings, highlighting the patterns, textures, and colours that make each creature unique. Whether it's the iridescence of a cicada’s back or the majesty of a bird in flight, I strive to reveal the beauty in all forms of life - often where it may not be immediately obvious.
In my pastel paintings, I apply layer upon layer to build form, depth, and detail, immersing myself in the intricacies of the subject. Up close, my art invites the viewer to explore the details and individual marks, but when you step back, the subject comes to life as a cohesive whole. It is through this layered technique that I hope to draw viewers into the world I see - a world where even the smallest details contribute to the larger beauty of nature.
