Erin Chance
Erin Chance has worked as a tattoo artist for over twenty years, in both New Zealand and the USA where she co-owned her own studio.
A return to New Zealand marked the opportunity for Erin to begin creating for herself again instead of bringing the ideas of others to fruition.
While her working hours are filled of ink and skin, outside of this she uses acrylic, watercolour and occasionally pencil, to bring to life her hybrid creatures and sometimes slightly monstrous women.
Erin lists her influences as books, sci-fi, video games, fantasy, magic, mythology and animals.
